1. Who is eligible to use EMRRX?

You must be at least 18 years old (or meet applicable legal requirements) and provide accurate and complete health information. Eligibility for treatment is determined by a licensed healthcare provider based on your medical history, symptoms, and applicable laws.

2. Do I automatically receive a prescription?

No. Prescriptions are not guaranteed.A licensed healthcare provider will evaluate your information and determine whether treatment is medically appropriate. Some patients may not qualify for medication.

3. How are medical decisions made?

All medical decisions are made by licensed healthcare providers through our partner network, including Ola Health.

Providers are responsible for:

  • Evaluating your condition
  • Determining appropriate treatment
  • Issuing prescriptions when clinically appropriate

EMRRX does not make medical decisions.

4. Are there limits on what can be prescribed?

Yes. Providers follow applicable medical guidelines and legal requirements.

Certain medications may not be prescribed through telehealth, depending on:

  • Clinical appropriateness
  • State regulations
  • Telemedicine laws
5. Are controlled substances prescribed?

In most cases, controlled substances are not prescribed through the platform.

If allowed, prescribing is subject to strict federal and state regulations and provider discretion.

6. Can I request a specific medication?

You may discuss treatment preferences with your provider; however:

  • Providers are not obligated to prescribe a requested medication
  • Treatment decisions are based on medical necessity and clinical judgment
7. How do refills work?

Refills are not automatic.

You may be required to:

  • Complete a follow-up consultation
  • Provide updated medical information
  • Undergo additional evaluation

Refill decisions are made by the provider based on clinical appropriateness.

8. What if I don’t qualify for treatment?

If a provider determines that treatment is not appropriate:

  • No prescription will be issued
  • Consultation fees may still apply (as outlined in our Refund Policy)
9. Where are medications filled?

Prescriptions are fulfilled by licensed U.S. pharmacies, including our partner Ola Pharmacy.

Pharmacies are responsible for:

  • Dispensing medications
  • Shipping and delivery
10. Can I return medications?

No. Due to safety and regulatory requirements, medications cannot be returned or refunded once dispensed, except in limited cases such as damage or incorrect orders.

11. Does EMRRX provide emergency care?

No. EMRRX is not intended for emergency medical conditions. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

12. Are services available in all states?

Services are available only in states where affiliated providers are licensed to practice. Patients are matched with providers authorized to deliver care in their state.

13. Is my information secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption and secure systems, to protect your personal and health information in accordance with applicable laws, including HIPAA.

14. What conditions can be treated through EMRRX?

EMRRX supports telehealth consultations for certain non-emergency conditions.

However:

  • Not all conditions are appropriate for telemedicine
  • Providers may recommend in-person care when necessary
