EmrRx provides the following telemedicine services:
- Asynchronous medical consultations via secure messaging
- Video consultations with licensed physicians
- Prescription medication services
- Medication matching and identification services
- Medical questionnaires and health assessments
- Eligibility and User Requirements:
To use our services, you must:- Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent
- Be physically located in the United States during consultation
- Provide accurate and complete health information
- Have a valid form of identification
- Provide accurate contact information
- Medical Disclaimers and Limitations:
Important Medical Information:- Our services are not intended for emergency medical situations
- For medical emergencies, call 911 immediately
- Telemedicine consultations have limitations compared to in-person visits
- Not all conditions can be diagnosed or treated via telemedicine
- Our physicians may refer you to in-person care when necessary
- We do not prescribe controlled substances or narcotics
Emergency Situations
EmrRx is NOT appropriate for emergency medical situations. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
- Physician Licensing and Practice: All physicians providing services through EmrRx are licensed to practice medicine in the United States. Physicians will only provide consultations and prescriptions in states where they are properly licensed. The physician-patient relationship is established only after the physician has reviewed your case and determined that telemedicine treatment is appropriate.
- Prescription and Pharmacy Services:
- All prescriptions are subject to physician approval
- We work with licensed US pharmacies only
- Prescription costs are separate from consultation fees
- Some medications may not be available through our network
- Controlled substances are not prescribed through our platform
- Prescription refills require new consultations
- Privacy and Confidentiality: We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of your health information in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal and health information.
- Payment Terms and Fees:
Fee Structure:- Asynchronous consultations: $29.99 (included with medication orders)
- Video consultations: $49.99 (included with medication orders)
- Medication matching service: $14.99
- Prescription costs are additional and vary by medication
- All fees are due at time of service
- No refunds for completed consultations
- User Responsibilities:
As a user of EmrRx services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete medical information
- Use services only for legitimate medical purposes
- Follow prescribed treatment plans and medication instructions
- Not share your account credentials with others
- Notify us of any adverse reactions or medication issues
- Respect the professional relationship with our physicians
- Prohibited Uses:
You may not use our services to:
- Obtain controlled substances or narcotics
- Seek treatment for emergency medical conditions
- Provide false or misleading health information
- Abuse or misuse prescription medications
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Resell or distribute prescribed medications
- Limitation of Liability: EmrRx’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- Termination: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to violations of these terms, suspicious activity, or misuse of our platform.
- Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
